In the mist of the pandemic, we collaborated with the local Tesco to help local people battling isolation with a donation of teatime treats to our members.
Because of the pandemic, our regular meetings between members and our volunteer have been suspended due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Following a call from Angel Taylor, who is based in Erith, rang us and promised us the donation of goods for our members, which included tea, lemon drizzle and cupcake mixes, eggs and biscuits, to help their anxious and isolated members feel better.
Julie Quick, one of our Directors for the Wellbeing Link said:
We continue to strive towards this end, especially in these Covid times coming out of Lockdown!
